Experience Riviera Nayarit

After a great vacation, how many people comment about how much fun they had on the flight? No, this isn't about the state of today's air travel, it's about experiencing a new destination!

There are those that pay for the all-inclusive option at their hotel and fully intend on getting their $'s worth. Understood, but you can save more money by staying home and getting drunk. Instead, get out and EXPERIENCE the place. The Riviera Nayarit offers plenty of affordable sightseeing options and day trips.

The cheapest option (in just about any destination) is public transportation. Give it a shot! Ask the front desk at your hotel. They'll be glad to offer you tips on riding the bus into town. If you don't like it, get out and hail a taxi. We're betting you won't.

On the other end of the spectrum is an air expedition. Our sightseeing page offers that tour along with other affordable day trips and cruise offerings that enable you to experience beauty and culture of the Riviera Nayarit.

Find and book a couple of those trips and we're betting the stories you tell when you get home won't make mention of an airline.

Experience the Locale

I guess this would not appeal to everyone one, but I wanted to share the experience my wife and I had on a tour to San Sebastian. It is an example of the traditional ways of living and working in a remote Mexican mountain village. We had lunch and plenty of bottled water included.

We thought San Sebastian was like living museum untouched by time.

There is a allot of walking so wear comfortable shoes - it's about a 7 hour excursion.

Just Do It!

You have to at least venture out a little bit! There is Sooooooooooooooooo much to see outside the wall of your resort. I hope the influx of all inclusive resorts doesn't hurt the many fine sights and restaurants in the area. Not to mention the EXTREMLY friendly locals. I've done Rhythems of the night and a snokle tour. Both were well worth the time and money. I heard of a morning atv trip up intp the hills that is supposed to be great too.

BTW.....Good luck on this site.
